We're used to seeing tags almost everywhere: websites, blogs, photo and video sharing communities… But what if we could also use tags in our hard drive's file structure?

With TaggedFrog now you can. This easy tool lets you add tags to any file on your system, so that you can better identify its content and also search for it in a more efficient way.

TaggedFrog works like any other tagging system you've seen: select the elements you want to tag, write the keywords that describe them and click on "OK". The files will automatically be added to the program's library, and the tags you used will appear in the tag cloud. Just like the Internet, these tags vary in size according to the number of elements they include.

TaggedFrog is not meant to work with Windows Explorer. Instead, it's a standalone file manager you can use to organize your files by tags, if you find this method more useful than the traditional folder-file scheme.

However, the program still lacks some functionality that could make it even better. To begin with, you can't add folders; you have to manually select all the files instead. Also, it would be great to have the search function included in the program's System Tray icon.

With TaggedFrog you can manage, organize and search the files on your hard drive according to tags, just as you do with content you publish online.
